I can only say good things about the job that John (and Derek) did for us.
We had John and his helper, Derek, work with us for about 9 hours moving us from 2 locaions. The second location had some challenges that were not expected. In order to get furniture out, we had to remove and reset some doors in the house.. They handled these surprises without a problem. I can only say good things about the job that John did for us. Arrived at the Uhaul place 15 minutes early to get the truck. We had the misfortune of having to move in the snow, but they were able to work through that without problem. At the end of the job, they returned the truckto uhaul.

Great Service!
We had a bunch of highly sensitive and extremely heavy instruments to be moved for our business. These guys worked quickly, efficiently, and safely. We would definitely use their services again, and others should too.

I would absolutely use them again.
I used Big Guy For Hire Moving & Labor Services to move furniture in my house. It included moving a treadmill upstairs. It was perfect. They came to my house right on time. They disassembled a 90-gallon aquarium and moved the parts downstairs and put it all back together. They took apart a treadmill and took it upstairs and put it back together. They did it all inside of an hour. I would absolutely use them again.

I found them both to be very polite, and felt at ease with them in my new home.
Unfortunately, I this is the 4th time I've moved in 5 years. Fortunately, this time I heard about Big Guy for Hire before making my move. The Uhaul that took my brother and I over 4 hours to load (from a garden level), John and his team member were able to unload to the new 3rd floor aparment in under 2 hours! Very impressive! This included a solid wood desk from the 50's that made it up unscathed. I found them both to be very polite, and felt at ease with them in my new home. I would definitely use Big Guy again for my next move.

John has established a reputation on Angie's List, so he's the guy for me.
They came to my house and moved an entertainment center upstairs, a table downstairs, and three dressers from one room to another on the same floor.
Things went very well. I didn't want to hurt myself and my friends via "do-it-yourself," so I called Big Guy John. He hired his friend(?) and came to my house WITHIN 24HRS and moved my heavy furniture around the house without damaging my furniture, walls or floor. The price of $100 was okay for me and okay for them. They showed up on time and were very nice and did not in any way seem threatening to my family or property. I'm sure there are a lot of unemployed, strong guys in our city who would rearrange five pieces of furniture for $80-$100, but it is difficult to figure out which ones you can trust not to bring problems or flake-out.
John has established a reputation on Angie's List, so he's the guy for me. He claims to be insured, so that is a bonus, if true. I don't need to deal with a disability lawsuit over 30 minutes of assistance around my house. Because John has to commit to paying his assistant when coming out on a job, John requests that a customer deposit be made in advance. This is not how I prefer to do this kind of contracting, but it is pretty risk free, if not hassle free, because John would not ruin his extensively built reputation just to scam one or two people out of a $75 deposit.
I kind of had a preconceived notion that they would have some kind of equipment like dollies or canvas strap harnesses, etc., to help them move furniture. But, they are just big guys who know how to orient, tilt and rotate furniture well. They communicate effectively with one another. They don't seem to have carpet protectors or booties, but as I said, you would really have to be foolishly cheap to try to do better than than these guys for your house.

If you need someone to move things, then you should look no further and give Big Guy for Hire a call.
John and his partner were on time and very patient while moving everything. They did it in the time they said it would be done. We are going to hire them to move things out of the house, for the floors to be refinished, then move things back in the house. If you need someone to move things, then you should look no further and give Big Guy for Hire a call.

For sure when I need to move again in 2 years, I'll be making the call.
I've moved LOTS. I've moved around the country, and also had movers to move things from one floor to another just to have hardwoods refinished. For the most part, I've been pretty happy with all the movers that I have had, and that includes Big Guy (John et al). This time, I moved my stuff from Austin to my dad's in Michigan because I am moving overseas for 2 years. When I called, I let John know that I was kinda out in the boonies (Clinton, MI). He had no problem making the hike, and was more than friendly about it. Because he was so nice, I just find it hard to believe any of the other remarks about him being condescending. I didn't even get a HINT of that. I'll make no off-the-wall comments about that... I know, that's not like me, but I don't want to get too crazy. :)
They showed up a little late... but I wasn't in a hurry, so it worked out fine. I showed them the truck, let them know where to put the stuff, and then just let them do their thing while I sat around on my butt (that's the best way to move). They finished in a reasonable manor: not too slow, not too fast. I don't know about you, but I don't need those guys going TOO fast, that can lead to breaking or damaging things. So doing it in a methodical and calculated manor seems the better route (which is exactly what they did). The last two moves I did in Austin seemed to have guys that wanted to run like crazy, and that led to a couple broken/scratched items. So I felt really happy with the level of speed, professionalism, and accommodation that I experienced w/ Big Guy. For sure when I need to move again in 2 years, I'll be making the call. Hopefully he'll still be nice enough to come out so far away! I'm still impressed that he was nice enough to make the trek - it's hard to get my friends to do that sometimes, so getting someone that doesn't even know me yet to come out here was awesome. Thanks a ton John!
For sure I'd suggest using Big Guy. Very good stuff.

From the first phone call I got good vibes and definitely feel like I hired the right people.
Provided loading and unloading of a U-haul for my move from Ann Arbor to Perrysburg OH. We packed the boxes, rented and drove the truck, and will be unpacking boxes. Big Guy provided the muscle.
Well, John certainly lives up to his nickname, Big John. I also knew almost instantly that he's a great guy because my guinea pig told me this. No, she doesn't actually talk to me, but they are great judges of character and body language. She's typically quite leery of new people but will warm to you and come over for some head scratches once you've visited 2 or 3 times. Well, basically the first thing John did in my home was reach into the cage to coax her over to say hi. Miraculously, she (cautiously) came right to him and even let him give her a quick head scratch. So, I knew right then that he's good people, and he certainly proved this throughout the move.
They did show up about 15 minutes late, but I wasn't ready for them on time anyway, and my subdivision is confusing to navigate through when you don't know it. They got to work right away (after saying hi to the pigs) and got the truck packed really quickly. They handled everything very carefully and I could tell that they were planning how to load things into the truck along the way. They were friendly and kind and definitely knew what they were doing. I handed out water and brownies (baked goods are one of the best ways to get great service from just about anyone FYI) and then we set off for the new place.
Unloading the were just as speedy. I was moving into a 2nd floor apartment so they had to cart everything up the stairs but they had no problems. They placed furniture where we wanted it and piled up boxes out of the way as we requested. It was well after noon at this point so we ordered pizza, which arrived shortly before they finished up. After they got the last of the stuff unloaded and moved the truck for us, we sat down to eat and chatted a bit. Both John and Derrick are great guys. Once I was sure they were well fed they headed out.
Oh, and when he gave the the total (minus the $75 deposit) I was pleasantly surprised with how low it was. Someone would have had to pay me quite a bit more to do what these guys did!
From the first phone call I got good vibes and definitely feel like I hired the right people. We will be using them again next weekend to move my boyfriend into our new place and both of us are really glad to know that John and Derrick will be on the job again. Definitely eases some of the stress for his move.
One thing I will say is that John is a working guy running a business. If you expect to be coddled by a receptionist with a sugar-sweet voice telling you everything you want to hear, then you may be disappointed with your discussions with John. If however, you appreciate someone who works hard, knows his stuff, and takes the time to run all aspects of his business (including answering the phone calls) then Big Guy for Hire is your man.
To make things go as smoothy as possible: - Have things packed and ready to go (no brainer right?) - Little boxes go into bigger boxes. They stacked up boxes about 5-6 feet tall onto an appliance dolly which made it go very quickly. We used a lot of paper boxes which were great, but anything much smaller than that is too small. - Make sure you have moving blankets and lots of them. Too many is better than too few. - Baked goods - You tip all your other service people, don't forget about your movers. :)
Definitely 5 stars overall. I would have given an A+ if I could!

Excellent movers
Excellent movers! They were professional, kind, respectful, and strong. I am recommending them to everyone in my town.// When you ask them to move something, they do it with no questions asked. They even moved an old queen-sleeper sofa twice by the street because an old neighbor lady would have complained about where it was located for the garbage men. Treat them with respect and you will receive respect and generosity back. Happy Holidays.

After the floors were done and finished, we hired him again to move everything back.
We hired Big Guy For Hire Moving Services to move all of our furniture out of the first floor so that we could tear out our carpeting and install hard wood flooring. There were some LARGE HEAVY pieces that needed moving in addition to the usual upholstered pieces, tables and chairs. After the floors were done and finished, we hired him again to move everything back. John and his helper arrived on time and got to work right away. Since we had freshly finished floors and new paint everywhere, they were super cautious about damaging anything. The process went smoothly and the floors and walls didn't get even the smallest scratch or ding. That should be expected but as I said previously there were a couple of really big heavy pieces that had to be brought up from the lower level and taken to a second floor location. They really had to work hard to get them up there.
John is a good man and was courteous and patient during both visits.
We've got some more carpet to take out and replace with hardwood and will not hesitate to call John again.

A great service for those tasks that can't be done alone.
A small job -- moving appliances around during my kitchen renovation. An older refrigerator needed to be moved to the garage and a Viking range moved from the garage into the kitchen. I'm in the middle of a kitchen renovation and needed help taking an older refrigerator out to the garage and bringing a heavy, stainless steel range into the kitchen from the garage. The kind of assistance that is difficult to get friends to help...who has the time and doesn't have a bad back, etc. I called John on Sunday and they showed up Monday morning, on time, were professional, friendly, helpful. Over and done with in less than an hour. They had an appliance dolly and knew what they were doing -- no scratches or bumps. A great service for those tasks that can't be done alone. Before they left, John asked if there was anything else they could help with. I recommend their services and will definitely keep him in the contact list for services in the future.

They were wonderful and we will be setting up another appointment.
We needed to have some furniture moved to different rooms in the house and some exercise equipment relocated to the basement to accomodate Thanksgiving guests. John was able to fit us in on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. They showed up when they said they would and moved everything around quikcly and carefully. He even offered us a good deal to move things back after Thanksgiving. They were wonderful and we will be setting up another appointment.

The move was well worth the price. The company was very professional and courteous.
I have a small arts and crafts business and had to move all of my supplies and small equipment to a forth floor studio location inside of an industrial building. The moving company moved items from a rented storage facility, my garage, my living room and also my basement. I had rent the truck for the move.
The whole move went very well! It is something I had been trying to have done for a very long time. I had difficulty finding someone to move me, and did not like even the thought of moving so much stuff [I had a lot of small boxes/bags, etc.]. The job went well. It took Mr. Anderson and his assistant a total of eight hours to move everything that I wanted moved on that day, and the move was well worth the price. The company was very professional and courteous. I will be calling Big Guy to more some additional items, and I would recommend them to anyone,

I couldn't be more happy with the selection of this company.
The whole move of the heavy stuff and all of the boxes was done in 3.5 hours. The owner, John, and Derek were doing an excellent job. We were extremely happy with the care they exercised with our furniture. Yet they were fast and saved us a lot of hard work doing it ourselves. I couldn't be more happy with the selection of this company. Thanks, John. You have the Fahrrecht!

I'm honestly struggling for some "constructive criticism" but I honestly don't have any. They were great!
John and his assistant, Sean, helped me move into my new house. It was a local move. They unloaded a 10 X 30 storage (it was packed to the gills) into two 26' UHaul trucks, drove about 10 miles to my house, and unloaded the stuff into our house. It was a standard move.
In a nutshell, John and his assistant, Sean, were careful, friendly and efficient. They were also flexible with me moving my date (about three times!) and even showed up a bit early for the job. I have used UHaul's 'eMovers' service (UHaul's version of hired labor) and Big Guy For Hire was less expensive and overall a much better experience.
John and Sean worked from 10am until a little after 4pm without even a break for lunch! They worked hard and packed the truck very well.
I'm honestly struggling for some 'constructive criticism' but I honestly don't have any. They were great!

These guys are AWESOME!!!
I recently hired them to move our stuff from our home, with half the stuff needing to be moved into a storage unit and half into our apartment. These guys were absolutely great! They were on time, friendly, and very professional. They knew exactly how to pack our moving truck, and to how pack the storage unit so that everything fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be hiring them again when I move from my apartment and storage unit. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I'd hire them again in a hearbeat.
First, I was flying on faith in my fellow Yelpers when I had to put down a $75 deposit for scheduling a moving appointment. I was kind of thinking, shouldn't *I* be collecting a deposit to make sure the movers show up when they say they will? Alas, no worries, Big Guy for Hire was on-time and ready to work.
You could tell they were always thinking a step or three ahead when it came to what order to put the pieces in the truck. It was like a big puzzle and they only won when all the pieces went together without damaging each other; and they did it.
I made 2 errors in my move that Big Guy for Hire was able to save me from. First, I didn't have enough moving blankets. They were able to use old bath towels and such that I had, and nothing got damaged. (Note: I have since learned you can rent cheapo moving blankets at U-Haul for $5 for a half dozen. $20 would have gone a long way on moving day.) My second error was that I had a huge, heavy elliptical which I thought would move in one piece but it turned out to be too big to fit. I had already moved the hex wrench needed to partially disassemble it. Fortunately, John had a small set of tools in his car that included the right tool. Saved a trip to the hardware.
Big Guy for Hire fills a great niche - reasonably priced heavy lifters for people who need stuff moved but have their own truck/transportation. 5 stars.

This is the second time I have utilized Big Guy and I was completely satisfied on both occasions.
John and his helper moved all the furniture from my living room and dining room to my garage so that my floors could be refinished. Two days later they moved it all back. Some of the furniture was very heavy and bulky. John recommended felt pads for the bottom of many of the furniture pieces which I purchased and they helped me install as the furniture was repositioned back into the rooms. I was concerned about the repositioning because the floors were now newly finished and I didn't want them marred. They were very careful and the floors were not harmed in any way. This is the second time I have utilized Big Guy and I was completely satisfied on both occasions. They work very efficiently, do a superb job and are very reasonably priced. I would recommend Big Guy for any and all moving needs.

an unsatisfied customer writes on Yelp:
My husband and I moved from Iowa to Michigan and since this company had great reviews we were excited to have them help us move. We asked them to unload our moving truck into a storage unit and then help my mother-in-law unload her furniture. My husband had to work the day after we moved, so my mother-in-law and I were the ones who dealt with these people. They called my phone a few minutes before we were supposed to meet and they were parked at an automotive parts factory; they claimed this was the correct address and it was not a storage facility. After calling the facility to double check the address, I entered the address in my GPS and found the facility with no problem. The storage facility was huge with many signs; it's pretty hard to miss. On my way to the facility, I got a call from John saying they had found the facility and would be waiting for us. John accompanied me into the storage facility, where he tried to talk to the storage agent and choose a lock for me. I found this slightly condescending, since I am a capable adult. John and his helper helped me back the truck (a 26 footer) into a loading dock since I don't have any experience with trucks this big. There seemed to be lots of standing around and planning how to unload/arrange our things and the storage unit provided many of the carts and dollies the movers used. John made numerous comments about how the truck was packed: what shouldn't be packed in boxes, some items that had fallen out or shifted (we drove 500 miles) and larger items (like fishing poles and our kids' bikes) that he thought should have been packed in boxes. At one point he said "It's extremely annoying to have to pick up little things and little boxes. Could I get you to go buy a few boxes and tape from the storage company?" Then he stated, "Never mind, just forget I said anything." My son and I helped to push handcarts of boxes back to our unit to speed up the movers' progress. I also witnessed John TOSSING our boxes to his helper from the truck until they saw me. John and his helper took an hour lunch break and arrived at my mother-in-law's apartment to help her unload her furniture. John became irritated when my mother-in-law instructed him where to put furniture and boxes; he thought they should go in a different place. He was irritated about waiting a few minutes while we put screws in her hutch to secure the top to the bottom and bolts in her recliner sofa to secure the backs to the seat. John seemed irritated and was extremely rude and disrespectful to both my mother-in-law and I and our possessions. This is the first experience we've had with hiring movers, and to tell the truth, I'd rather do everything myself if this is what one has to put up with. Yelp makes me fill in a whole star, but these guys really deserve about half a star.
>>>RESPONSE FROM BIG GUY: We did have the right address, Google maps put us in the wrong place, a simple mistake, nothing you should be angry about. It wasnt our fault. We were there on time and at least 15 minutes before you showed up. We made every attempt to be helpful and please you but you had an unbelievable attitude. I wasnt being condescending, I just wanted to help speed up the process because we waited for over an hour for you to have the rental unit ready. Your truck was one of the worst i have ever seen in my moving career. what I asked for, any mover would have asked for. You did see how we were able to fill 2 big boxes with the small stuff that was all over the floor of your truck didnt you? We could have filled 3! We regularly toss boxes full of clothes and shoes and pillows and linen between our men. This does not harm the contents and makes the job go faster! Every cart load needed to be taken the entire length of the facility to your locker. How could it have gone faster? We didnt give your mother attitude, there was no place left to put things in your apartment! You were a 'first timer' customer with unrealistic expectations and way too much extremely poorly packed stuff for the space you rented, and yet we made it all work under pressure! We were just trying to get through your job to another day where we would be appreciated. And we did: the next customer absolutely loved us.<<<

Arrived on time, worked quickly and carefully and did an outstanding job.
John moved my two bedroom apartment and a storage unit to my newly purchased home. It was a 98 degree day and John and his helper did an outstanding job. I encouraged breaks and they would take just short breaks and really were very hard working even in the heat. My house was just painted and they moved me in with bumping up walls or scratching my new floor. The price was fair and I was so pleased I gave him a good bonus. I probably will hire again when I need to move anything.Truly would recommend.

these are nice movers who did a great job.
We hired them to move a very heavy desk from our living room to our basement. They were great - showed up on time, super friendly, and also really smart in the way that they moved the desk. They had to go around a tricky corner and down some steep narrow stairs - my husband said they did it a way that he hadn't thought of and that was really clever (and we're both engineers). Anyhow, super nice guys. And yeah, I'm sure the 5-star reviews are real... these are nice movers who did a great job.

I'll never call anyone else.
John, Derrick and Shawn just literally left our house and I thought they were so awesome that I wanted to record my review right away. They are the most professional, most friendly, most easy-to-work-with movers I have *ever* had the pleasure to work with, and I'm someone who has moved a LOT all over the country and had many good experiences. Big Guy For Hire blows them all away. They were punctual and fast, seemed to have nearly super-human strength, handled everything with care, were extremely polite and kind (especially to our dog and baby) and just made moving easy - which is typically a stressful experience. Seriously, I'm hoping not to move again for a good long while, but after the professionalism we encountered from them, I'll never call anyone else.

Our heroes!
We were northbound on I-75, driving a fully-loaded 26-foot U-Haul from Cincinnati to Pinckney, when we got a call from the guy who was supposed to help us unload the truck. His car had overheated and he and his friend had no way of getting to Pinckney to help us. It was Fathers Day, so finding other helpers was going to be tough. We managed to get everything off the truck and into the garage but there was no way we were going to be able to move the appliances and furniture into the house. We called John the next day and he and one of his guys were able to fit us in between jobs THAT SAME DAY!! Consummate professionals, they worked quickly and efficiently and before we knew it the washer and dryer were in the basement, the mattresses were upstairs, and our couch was in the living room. The next time we need something moved there is only one guy we will call: John Andrew and Big Guy For Hire.

It went great! We would highly recommend them.
We recently moved from one house to another. After getting quotes from several companies, they were the best option. They were polite and sincere. They arrived on time and moved our furniture plus other things very carefully. Even if the furniture didn't fit, they found ways to go around. They didn't give up. They didn't waste any time and were very honest in calculating the total cost of the move. We were very pleased.

I hired John to unpack our upack cubes when we moved to Dexter. I first called him from NC when I booked the date (4 weeks before the move) and confirmed 2 weeks prior. I asked to quote a price and his response was "I'm tired and had plenty other work to do and I'm not cheap.... try Craigslist" I wouldn't give it any stars but yelp makes me at least fill one.
>>>RESPONSE FROM BIG GUY: Im sorry you felt that way. I am a little tired when answering calls sometimes. that goes with being a mover i guess. I didnt mean to seem rude, but I also didnt say it like you indicated above. As you can imagine, this is hard work, and you asked us to do one of the hardest types of jobs there is (from 3rd floor accross a big parking lot to 3rd floor in 100 degree heat--no truck. We would need to carry every item the whole way). We are in the thick of the busy season, and right now Im booked solid for 2 weeks. I cant or dont want to do every job that comes my way. I always try to steer people in the right direction when we cant meet their needs however, so I asked you to check out craigslist for someone who may need the work more than we do. There are plenty of movers out there. Did you find someone to do your job? I hope so, because thats a job no mover would want to be perfectly honest. But best of luck to you anyway!<<<

They did everything exactly as I asked.
My first experience hiring movers was with this company, and it was a great experience. John and his employee were very professional; they arrived at the uhaul place exactly on time and worked very fast and efficiently. The terrain at my new house was not mover-friendly, but it was no problem for them. They did everything exactly as I asked. Nothing was damaged in the move. I will definitely hire him for my next move.

Moved our entire house to new house in same town
They were on time, worked consistently the whole day--even in the rain--without complaint. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend them.

I totally loved their service.
I asked them a quote through their website 4 days before the scheduled moving and the moving schedule was booked easily. We lived in an one-bedroom apartment and were moving to a two-bedroom apartment on the moving day. We were supposed to meet them at 2pm but they were 5 minutes late. However, I haven't seen any other complains about the lateness for them except for my case. But, they did an excellent job and finished loading and unloading all stuffs within 2 hours, the minimum hours. That is, $55 was paid for hiring two movers for one hour but hourly payment was not allowed. And the travel fee was not included so I paid $25 more. In total, $135 was paid for all service. However, I loved their hard work and careful loading and unloading so I gave them $30 as a gratuity. I totally recommend these guys to all but please make sure when they start moving. Two hours seems to be short for two-bedroom apartment moving. Hope this helps.

Just excellent. You can trust their all 5 star reviews.
I recently moved at Canton with them. They are very kind, friendly, and really helpful. I was really satisfied their work. I want to recommend them to anyone needs moving. I absolutely dont think that the all 5-star reviews are written by the same person. I never left reviews any web-site, but Im doing that since they did great work.

John worked magic while packing up our Penske truck!
My friend and I recently moved to Chicago, and were really nervous that all of our furniture and boxes wouldnt be able to fit into our 16 foot truck. However, John and his counterpart somehow made everything fit by being creative with the space we had, and not giving up on us (reminded me of Mary Poppins bag)! He definitely saved us from the headache of having to make multiple trips back. On top of that, John was super friendly, and gave us tips on what to check out in Chicago, since hes lived there before. Id highly recommend him for your move!

Two movers helped us move the contents of our walkout basement into a "Pod" on our driveway prior to a remodel.
John arrived on time with another mover and they worked the whole time they were at our house. He is truly a big guy --and strong, too. We worked along with them, and it was clear that we could not have finished the move in time for our contractor's start date without their help. Also, my husband and I would have had difficulty moving some of the heavier, awkward items, but they did it with relative ease. They did not damage anything, either! We will hire them again when we move back into our finished lower level.

EXCELLENCE in a world of subpar service
Cannot say enough about BIG GUY, they were not only on time they were early! John was efficient and knew what he was doing! My husband is an x truck driver for furniture store and lumber yard and this guy knew how to unload, swiftly, efficeintly and without any damage. Price was excellence and would highly recommend.

Unloaded two 16' POD storage units. Moved everything into my basement.
My wife and I couldnt believe how quickly John and his 1 assistant unloaded the storage units, both of which were completely packed full. They were able to finish the job in under two hours. Wed hired 2 Men and a Truck to load the units back in October and they took over 4 hours each with three men each time. John scheduled us in last minute, showed up on time, and did an outstanding job. He was quick, careful with our items, stacked everything very neatly and was very courteous and professional. It was a very refreshing experience to finally have a contracter who understands that doing a great job at a great price and not trying to screw the customer is the best way to get repeat and referral business. I will definitely hire him again if we need anything moved.

Phil writes on our Ann Arbor Google Places page:
Nobody has that many 5-star reviews in a row. Not a single 4-star even. They all sounds like they were written by the same guy, who knows, maybe it was the 'big guy' himself.
>>>Response from the 'BIG GUY' himself: We do in fact have that many 5 star reviews. If you dont believe it, check out our feedback on yelp or angies list. Simply put, we do great work! Oh by the way, you missed our 4 star reviews. Look a little closer please! Thank you for your input. It might be more relevant if we actually did some work for you. But then we are confident you wouldnt have left us 1 star.<<<

I will be asking them to come back after the remodel
They showed up on time, were very curtious and worked very efficiently and effectively. I was a amazed at how easily they were able to get things out and how well they organized the furniture was placed in the garage. I will be asking them to come back after the remodel to move everything back in. I highly recommend Big Guy for hire.

Couldn't ask for more
John and a helper moved a very heavy treadmill out of my house and into the basement of a friend without hanging into anything. They showed up on time, dismantled the treadmill, moved it and then put it back together. Couldnt ask for more.

They were efficient, polite, took great care with everything, and did an all-around great job.
I called John yesterday morning to see if he could help us with shuffling some really heavy/bulky furniture and a treadmill around the house. He had another job this morning, and he estimated getting to us around noon. He called at 12:20 to let me know he was on his way over, and arrived soon after. I showed John and his helper what needed moving, and he proceeded to move items out of the way that could get damaged before moving anything. They were efficient, polite, took great care with everything, and did an all-around great job. We would not hesitate to hire John again. He takes credit cards via Paypal - there is a link on his site.

Great Experience.
We hired John (Big Guy For Hire) to move a very heavy piece of exercise equipment and a couch down to our basement. We are very happy with our experience - John was professional, friendly, flexible in scheduling the apt, called before coming and showed up on-time. Well definitely be using his company again next year when we move and highly recommend him!
