Don't Hesitate to Call These Guys!
John and Derek loaded a 24ft truck for us. There were many heavy items to be carried up from the basement and several large pieces of furniture which had to be moved into an upstairs bedroom. John returned my calls promptly and they showed up on time. Both guys worked really hard the whole time they were here and we were well pleased. Weve used them before to help move things we purchased on Craigs List and well definitely be calling them again!

I saw John's notice on Craigslist, followed the link to his webpage, and called from Boston to set up a time for him to help unload our 22 ft truck. He showed up in Ann Arbor right on time with another big guy and they unloaded the whole thing in less than 2 hours. And he was a nice guy.

THE BEST MOVING SERVICE EVER
Big Guy for Hire was extremely professional, on-time, efficient, fast, and gentle with our furniture. My husband and I were moving from Detroit to North Carolina. John's service was immeasurable. When we arrived in North Carolina all of our belongings were still in the same excellent condition that they were before the move. I have used numerous moving services and nothing can compare to the excellent service that Big Guy for Hire provided us.

***Be sure NOT to use EMove though as the company botched our move-in arrangements in Chapel Hill, and our movers had no way to get in touch with us as our contact info never made it to the moving company.

Great Service!
We moved from NY to the Detroit area and had to schedule everything remotely (phone, online, etc.) We had to have the whole move done over the course of a weekend. Big Guy For Hire was one of the easiest aspects of our move to coordinate, they showed up right on time (on a Sunday, no less), had the entire move done in an hour and a half without a single issue, and charged us a very fair price. We were extremely satisfied with their service and will most definitely use them for our next move!

Excellent Movers
We have 2 bulky furniture pieces that do not fit in elevator, John and Rick moved them using the stairs from 13th floor to our truck.  We are very pleased with their service.  I would recommend BIG GUY to everyone.
